Eye Effects
The following film scenes required the character’s eyes to change colors, giving the character a more “supernatural” feel. Made using Adobe After Effects
Gun Fire
When filming the movie, the actor’s did not fire the actual guns on the set. Instead, the actors used gun props to simulate the gun being fired. I then went into the scenes, added muzzle fire, barrel movement, muzzle lighting around surrounding areas, and more to simulate the gun actually being fired using Adobe After Effects.
Composite Effects
For the film Bystander, I had to create animations, New’s Stations graphics, security cameras and more. The following examples are just some of the effects from the film. Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator were used to create these effects.
Blood Effects
Instead of filming impacts from the bullets, the actors simulated being hit by the impact. I then went in and created the effects to simulate blood from the impacts. The following are just some scenes from the film. Adobe After Effects was used to create this effect.
